A holistic six-month platform that promotes citizenship, dialogue, critical thinking, ethical leadership, constructive engagement — and the creation of real professional opportunities for Lebanese youth.
Monthly moderated discussions on civic rights, democracy and youth activism — ideas exchanged in an open and safe environment.
Conflict resolution, leadership, communication and project management — the craft needed to launch a civic initiative and see it through.
Small grants and executive coaching apply lean-startup and human-centered design to build sustainable, community-driven ventures.
Four stages, each building on the last: from conversation, to capability, to a funded project, to a national stage.
Seven moderated cross-university dialogues bring students from different regions, faiths and income brackets into the same room to think out loud about what citizenship asks of them — rights, trust in institutions, local governance, inclusion, media. Nothing is prescribed and nothing is voted on: the two months produce a shared Youth Civic Agenda, the list of issues this cohort decides is worth acting on.
Conviction becomes capability. Three practical workshops cover how institutions actually decide and how to reach them, how to build and deliver a credible public argument, and how to negotiate, form coalitions and handle influence ethically. Each is learned in the room and then tested in the field on a live issue from the agenda — a municipal sitting attended, a request filed, an ask made for real.
Teams turn an agenda item into a working initiative. Run with our academic entrepreneurship partners, the incubation validates the problem through the team's own field research, then designs, prototypes and budgets a response before pitching it to a jury. Five projects receive funding and six weeks of mentored implementation, with results carried to the National Conference.
A national stage for youth-led civic work. The cohort presents what it learned, showcases the funded projects and enters direct dialogue with policymakers and community leaders; awards go to the initiatives that delivered.
Youth aged 18–35+ from diverse socio-economic, religious and geographic backgrounds across Lebanon.
Enhance awareness of civic rights, promote inter-community dialogue through cross-university collaboration, nurture leadership — and support youth empowerment through professional opportunity.
Engaging youth in civic life cultivates belonging and the power to influence decisions — the foundation of resilient communities that address real societal issues.
Partner organizations and community centers gain hands-on experience in civic engagement.
A pool of ambassadors of change who promote citizenship and drive local and national development.
A replicable framework other organizations can adopt for their own civic programming.
A bridge between youth and public institutions — constructive dialogue and collaborative governance.
